Ever since opening in 2003, the Backyard Barbecue Store, located north of Chicago, has been a mecca for all grilling needs, including outdoor kitchens, accessories, spices and rubs. The only thing this neighborhood hub lacked was an online retail experience. Fueled by the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting surge in ecommerce, the Backyard Barbecue Store was ready to expand its offering online — and beyond the Chicago suburbs.
