In addition to social media community management, content development and PR services, Tell Your Story developed an employee advocacy program, #KnaufSocialSquad that enabled 50 Knauf employees to use their own social media networks to share Knauf and industry content. To incentivize participation, we deployed the third-party gaming app, Sociabble, which rewarded employees with points, badges, prizes, and more for sharing content. After just eight months, employees shared more than 1,600 posts to their social channels, reaching an audience of more than 450,000 people. This exposure has saved the company more than $14,000 for the equivalent in social media advertising.
